For the convenience of researchers who wish to compare 2006 questions with previous versions, each item in the 2006 questionnaire displays the 2000 Surveycraft question number and short label as well as the 2006 Blaise fieldname. In addition, the HRS 2006 codebook variable descriptions contain links to corresponding HRS 2000 and HRS 2002 variables.
