2010 HRS Core Industry Occupation Supplement

In the initial release of the 2010 HRS Core files, items pertaining to industry and occupation were coded using the Census 2000 Classified Index of Industries or the Census 2000 Classified Index of Occupations. In this supplemental file release, these same items are now coded using the 2007 Census Industrial Classification or the 2010 Census Occupational Classification. To protect the confidentiality of the information that respondents provide and consistent with the 2010 HRS Core Final 2.0, the majority of variables in this file have been masked.
