CAMS 2019 is the tenth wave of the Consumption and Activities Mail Survey that began in 2001. In the fall of 2019, 8,049 questionnaires were mailed to a sub-sample of HRS respondents. The sample consisted of everyone invited to participate in the 2017 CAMS who was alive in 2019 and who had not been permanently removed from the HRS or CAMS samples. New spouses of the 2017 CAMS sample members were included (even if they did not participate in the 2017 CAMS). In 2017 a part of the Late Baby Boom (LBB) cohort was included in CAMS--40% of households who were finalized on their baseline HRS 2016 interviews by June 30, 2017. In 2019, 40% of the remaining LBB households finalized on their baseline HRS 2016 interviews after June 30, 2017 were added to CAMS. Of the 8,049 questionnaires, 5,692 were "full" and 2,357 were "partial" versions. The 2019 CAMS data file contains 4,666 records.
