RAND HRS Detailed Imputations File 2022

The RAND HRS Detailed Imputation File contains the component and ownership variables for all waves that are used in the income, wealth, and medical expenditures summary measures found in the RAND HRS Longitudinal File. It is distributed as a companion file to the RAND HRS Longitudinal File, and is especially useful for those who require more detail than that found in the RAND HRS Longitudinal File.

The file includes information from the Core and Exit Interviews (medical expenditures only) but does not include any restricted data.

The RAND Center for the Study of Aging creates the RAND HRS data products under subcontract from HRS. The HRS and the RAND products are supported by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the Social Security Administration (SSA).
