Table Data: Pensions in the Health and Retirement Study

This data product was contributed by Alan L. Gustman, Thomas L. Steinmeier, and Nahid Tabatabai. The authors wish to make the data files underlying the tables in their book, Pensions in the Health and Retirement Study, available to all interested parties. Eight waves of pension data from the HRS, covering fourteen years and three distinct cohorts, are analyzed in the book. The data files are organized by chapter and include all constructed and original variables from the HRS used in creating the tables that appear in each chapter. This product contains data elements derived from public files.

Contributed projects based on HRS public data are provided by researchers who want to share their work with the research community.
