In the fall of 2023, CAMS questionnaires were mailed to a sub-sample of HRS respondents (n=6,247). The sample consisted of everyone invited to participate in the 2021 CAMS who was alive in 2021 and who had not been permanently removed from the HRS or CAMS samples. New spouses of the 2023 CAMS sample members were included (even if they did not participate in the 2021 CAMS). The 2023 CAMS data file contains 3,656 records.
